Once, I believed that anyone around or near religion was most likely a non- thinker. All people of religion, I believed, had sold out their thinking as a way to get away from their own decision-making, evading and avoiding their own personal responsibility. I never thought there could be a religion whose followers valued the power of the mind and independent thinking. Yet in this movement for unity and soul I've found kindly kindred souls who deeply understand and the truth of spiritual oneness as a great, necessary and true reality that underlies all things. I've found no prejudice in it and no hierarchy of faith or superiority, but rather a generous understanding of the human need to seek and find its own, without the negatives of others' intervention.

Unlikely Team-mates
Never would I have thought that I would see a rebel team up with those of more religious inspiration, yet it's something that happens often in our groups. Its a victory for unity, and I'm happy to have "crossed the line" to join with hearts once seen as strangers, finding a generosity of spirit and a oneness deeper than any of us could have imagined.
What a gift to find that I am not so nearly so alone as I thought myself to be! I've found many in this movement with a penchant for independent thinking, and realize it as a common ground, even when it leads to different places. ----------------------------------------
